New Poetry

Moonlight

Moonlight shining in the stars,
Oh so far away,
Tucked so tightly behind sky bars,
Doomed there to stay.

Frozen fingers reaching high,
Wrenching at those bars,
Reaching with an absent mind in the sky,
But it's up too far,

Tiny sun rays rise from behind a hill,
Stretching and yawning,
Taking over night that was so still,
In the mornings dawning,

The Moonlight fades away inside it's cave,
Fading to a tiny light,
It would never forgive or had never forgave,
Waiting there till night.

Book Reveiws

Hi to all those people who have enjoyed reading my poetry, I really appreciate all your encouraging and helpful comments. Now I am going to report on a few books I have been reading lately.

Midnight,
By Jacqueline Wilson

'Midnight' Is an enjoyable story about a young girl growing up. It goes through common problems for girls around 10 to 14 that happen regularly in life. Violet, the character in the story has problems with her friends and family, read this story to find out if she can solve her problems.

Cookie
By Jacqueline Wilson
This is about a child called Beauty that gets teased at school and has problems with her father.
She has only one special friend at her school, but she's best friends with the person that teases her. Read it to find out more about this book.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have been.

These are two books that I would recommend, try them, you never know, you might like them,
