My poetry

Friendship

A ring is round and never ends,
A ring does not twist nor bend,
With rings you have to find the right fit,
You must hold it tight and treasure it,
The right ring doesn't slip on your hand,
It doesn't stretch like a rubber band,
A ring is round and never ends,
And that's how long I'll be your friend.

Happy and kind make good friends,
A good friendship does not twist nor bend,
With friends you have to find the right fit,
Hold friendship tight and treasure it,
Friendship doesn't slide around,
If friendships are good, they'll stay n ground,
A ring is round and never ends,
And that's how long I'll be your friend.

Walking along memory stream

Catch a memory black and unseen,
Brush the ashes off its coat,
And see what has been,
Then pull it into your memory boat,
Then hop inside and go for a float,

Find a baby lost memory hidden in the weed,
Carry it softly and treasure it's seed,
Watch it grow stronger,
The memory longer,
As you row across memory stream.
